Joseph Ellis “Joe” Hall, age 84, of Joplin Mo., passed away on Monday May 28, 2012, at Webb City Health & Rehab.
Joe was born on February 22, 1928 in Carterville, Mo. the son of the late Joseph and Edna (Smith) Hall. He has been a lifelong area resident. He owned and operated Cycle Recycle. He enjoyed flying, motorcycles and camping.
He married his best friend of twenty two years Nancy Nicholas, she survives. Additional survivors include two daughters; Cynthia Poirer of Springfield, Mo., Debra Giddens and her husband Gary of Joplin, One step daughter Debra Harrison and her husband Johnnie of Joplin. One Step son, Mike Harrison and wife Katie of Blanchard, Ok. One sister Jean Myers of Fayetteville, Ar. Eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a step son Roger Nichols.
Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday June 1, 2012 at the Mason-Woodard Mortuary Chapel. Randy Garris will officiate. Burial will be in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the Joplin Humane Society in care of the Mortuary. Arrangements are under the care of Mason-Woodard Mortuary and Crematory.
