Jean Louise Greenfield

Jean L. Greenfield, age 72 of Webb City, Mo. passed away early Sunday June 10, 2012 at Landmark Hospital following an illness.

Jean was born on April 20, 1940 in Webb City the daughter of the late Jack and Lovetta (Bower) Goodwin. She has been a lifetime area resident, Jean worked for many years as the office manager at Cameron Estates before retiring in 2001. She attended the Joplin Full Gospel Church. Jean was a very active lady right up to the day she went to be with the Lord. She was a volunteer at Freeman Hospital for eleven years, she loved to go fishing and traveling, she loved spending time with her family, friends and church family.

Jean married Wayne Greenfield on March 6, 1958; he preceded her in death on March 8, 2001. She was also preceded by her daughter, Karen Greenfield. She is survived by two daughters; Cathey Greenfield and her partner Cheryl McKirnan of New Braunfels, Tx., Tammy Donahue and her husband Kevin of Joplin, Mo., one son; Wayne Greenfield, Jr. and his wife Beth of Webb City, one sister; Sandy Waggoner of Joplin, five grandchildren; Darren Doke, Brad Doke, Shane Therrien, Kyle Therrien and Briann Therrien, and six great-grandchildren; Daniel Doke, Hunter Cherry, Shasta Doke, Shaylee Doke, Liya Therrien and Madilyn Therrien.

Funeral services have been scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday June 15, 2012 at the Mason-Woodard Chapel. Pastor John Myers, will officiate. Burial will immediately follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Webb City, Mo. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday evening.

All family and friends are invited to a celebration of life immediately following the burial at 309 S. College, Webb City, Mo.
